"Does it work?" is the first question most customers will want to know.
Customer: "Of course she's going to say "YES!" no matter what, right... after all she's a salesperson, she has an agenda... doesn't she?"
Customer: "Of course she's going to say "YES!" no matter what, right... after all she's a salesperson, she has an agenda... doesn't she?"
This time the customer is only half right. I do have an agenda. But that agenda is cleverer and more sustainable than anything achievable with a bare faced lie. I only speak the truth and I will only let you buy products I believe are right for you. Period. I want you to fall in love with your passion products. I need you to trust in me and my integrity. Only then will my business thrive. My agenda is that you invest a lifetime of custom into Passion Parties by Josie.
I see myself as offering a service to women as opposed to being a 'seller'. It is my job to assist you in acquiring the most affordable product to suit your needs, whether that be a $6 spend or a $199, and in spite of the fun I have at my parties I take my job very seriously. It doesn't matter to me what you spend as long as you go away happy. I won't try to upsell unless I truly believe the higher priced item suits your needs better.
In most cases price does reflect quality (but not all).
I've spent years of accumulating cheap apothecary items and bargain basement underwear. But right now I'd gladly replace 10 badly fitting bras for just one that holds my girls perfectly. I'm finally able to realize the value in spending good money on quality items. In my formative years I watched my mum display posh gifted bath products. They were too good to actually 'waste'. How ironic? Instead we'd bathe in $1 products procured from the miscellaneous baskets at the outdoor market. Our cabinets and shelves were jam-packed with these bottled at various stages of empty.
These frugal traits are hereditary. Even when you've made the change it's hard to break a bad habit.
I never 'display' fancy gifted products on our bathroom shelves. Not using them would be the real waste. But I've only come so far. I once caught the husband shampooing hair in said quality item and I was furious that he was 'wasting' my precious stash. He was hurt that I wanted him to use the cheap products. I remember fuming inwardly at the waste ~ what did he need my fancy shampoo for? I'm ashamed to say it took me a few years to figure out the answer to this question. If I'm worth spoiling with luxurious bath product, surely he is too. What's good for the goose....
He couldn't believe his luck when I handed him his own Passion Parties Soft & Silky duo for shaving. "Are you sure?" he asked a little too tentatively. "Don't you want to sell these?" He's adorable, isn't he? I don't blame him for not fully trusting my generosity. I've come a long way since the shampoo incident. Of course he deserves the best, but I would be lying if I said there aren't other passion perks to having my man's chin silky soft.

I feel sure there are MANY virtues to having your mans face smooth and silky!
ReplyDeleteIf its a little more expensive than his usual shave cream, he can use it only on those 'special times' when his smoothness can more fully be appreciated and admired.
The other, cheaper brand, he can use for his work a day face. Thus making his special shave cream last even longer!
Much like we ladies use a special lotion or scent, when we know it will be noticed, admired and appreciated ;)
